I am excited to share what I have been up to ever since my last post in 2020 and a long break in 2021.
What is ARCHLOGBOOK 2.0?
ARCHLOGBOOK 2.0 represents a renewed vision and consolidation of my learnings and experiences as a young architectural designer.
Through this platform I want to be able to break down the barriers of knowledge and help you to succeed in your career and life.
ARCHLOGBOOK aims to bridge the gap between architectural education and practice, where young architectural graduates and designers like yourself can accelerate your career with increased clarity & confidence.
Here's a summary what you can expect from ARCHLOGBOOK this year and beyond:
Website
The ARCHLOGBOOK website has a new look!
This new updated website continues to be the main hub for all of my content across the various platforms and resources. It is also now easier to navigate the website to find what you want.
You can expect me to continue posting long form content via blog posts and/or video content where I share technical and practice basics on this new website.
The website is now run under Webflow instead of Squarespace so you may see a more pleasant speedy experience.
As migration of the posts are still in progress, you may refer to the old website (archlogbook.squarespace.com) for posts that you do not see here.

Youtube Channel
This channel has been online for a while now, especially during the MADCon phase where I got myself on camera more often. Here you will find video content on my new podcast (yay!), workshops and more. You can also find my 4 part Parametric Design Video series there as well.
Podcast - ARCHLOGBOOK Chats
This podcast is one of the new projects that I have been working on for a couple of months.
ARCHLOGBOOK Chats is a brand new podcast where I, Gabriel Chek, sit down with architecture students, designers, practitioners and academics to discuss the various challenges, achievements and opportunities in the education and practice of Architecture.
You can expect the first season of 7 episodes to come weekly from 2 Jan 2022.

Ebooks
Some of you have requested for this - I have been working on a couple of ebooks to better consolidate the content I have shared on ARCHLOGBOOK.
These ebooks are a must-have for those starting out in the industry.
There will be 4 ebooks coming out, starting with the first book on Industry Basics.
